Files Corrupted

Hi...
I have a problem!!!
All my .exe files are corrupted but this problem not depend from a virus in my pc (my antivirus is norton 2002), so I can't understand the reason of this kind of problem!
So many times I also try to format my HD but without results.
I need an answer... for my salvation...

sorry for my english, but my english teacher was a dog... (the truth is I'm italian :] )

What error message do you get when you try and run them? if they were all corrupted windows wouldn't even start.. and is this just with programs you download, or anything you install in general?

When I try to run this files the message is this: the file is corrupt and his dimension is changed. This problem exist for all kind of programs, downloaded or installed...

Try checking the file extensions...are they still .exe?

Yessssss. All files are .exe
