I have a dvd and a cdrom drive and both can't read any type of cd
The file system is raw and I need to change it in order for the drives to work. Can anyone tell me how to make them work.

Did you put both of these drives into the computer yourself?

Oh and welcome to XP-erience, where everyone is willing to help each other :)

Raw isn't a file system as far as I know. Sounds like a strange problem. Have you installed any strange drivers? Some burner software can block the CD drives sometimes (Plextools did it for me, damned annoying).

I never even touch the CDs that come with retail hardware since the software on them are usually out of date like the ASUS Probe which comes on the CD with my mobo.

I download the software off the net

oh and Zedric why do you always use " " at the beggining of every post

Cus I'm cool? :D Nah it's just a "thing" you know. I haven't got an avatar yet, so I have to have something right? Does it bother you?
