File sharing

    I want to share the contents of the My Documents folder so I set up filesharing on its sharing tab. I can now access the folder from other computers on my network, however, if I try to get into some of the subfolders, it says that I do not have permission. I never specified permissions for any of the sub folders and when I check the sharing tab of folder I can get into and can't get into, the settings are the same. How can I share the mydocuments folder and allow access to all of its subfolders and all of their subfolders?

    The way you made 'My Documents' shared, just do the same for the other ones!

    Sharing can be a headache sometimes...:mad:

    Try turning off all the computers on the network and leaving them off for 10 minutes or so. Bring everything back on line and try again. This has worked for me after making changes in the network.

    Why would you want to share everything anyways!

    Its good just to share some so you know your all there!
