file associations... kinda

    when i on images now, it doesn't have the option to 'set as default background' how do i fix that?

    and it's all kinda screwed after i had to reinstall photoshop...
    there's no way to reset file asociations is there? like all the image types to how they were originally when you installed xp

    Try this:-
    Open "My Computer" click "Tools" then "Folder Options..." then the "File Types" tab scroll down to the image extension yo want and click the "Restore" button.

    that set as desktop background was never there to begin with. i right click an image and that option isnt available. however, if you use my computer, then your hard drive and then locate the picture, by highlighting it, the side menu will change and say "set as desktop background"

    right-click set image as background is only an option if the image is in 'thumbnail' view, or as apu said previewed.
