I downloaded this Self extracting .exe (drivers for a HP multimedia keyboard). They came in the self extracting exe, however, they dont work. This is because I have my drive letters changed, so instead of having the windows folder in the c driver I have it in the f letter. anyways, this installer doesnt change the letters, so i have to manually change everything.

is there any program to extract the files from the self extracting exe? or any special commands/suffixes/etc?

thx,
Apu

If it really is a selfextracting exe, you can extract it with WinZip like any normal zip archive. Right click and choose open with WinZip, or if you have the shell extensions enabled you'll have the options right there.

I like to use PowerArchiver as it tends to read just about every "zip" format I've ever seen and then some. It should be able to do the job.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
