How many beeps are you getting? Someone should know. Does it boot up or just beep at you?

    dodgy computer beeps:
Long beep... and computer doesn't start up: No memory in PC... check yer memory sticks
Also... your CPU fan... if it isn't operational... some clever motherboard makers make sure yer PC dont boot up.. leaves most ppl puzzeled though.

One Long beep... 2 short beeps... and monitor doesn;t switch on: but computer seems to be still running = CPU has overheated...

those are the main ones most ppl encounter...

If is neither of those... what mainboard/motherboard you got ? (asus always seem to be on top with beeps) also.. what processor

Sounds like it could be the cpu. If you are overclocking turn it down.
