Please help!!!! …I've got this error message that comes up everytime I logon to windows:

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access this file.

and it is making a reference to svfc32.exe …. and I'm assuming the reason is I had to Quarantine it because it was infected with a virus. And it cannot be repaired. Anything I can do? Can I download that file from somewhere? Or what?

I'm running XP Home.

can u give more info on the virus? it may be in ur start up log so windows looks 4 it in order 2 execute the virus every time ya start up. it cant find it cus (i presume norton ) has quarentined it so no 1 can get @ it.

hmm norton has absolutly jack on it.

go2 run and type "msconfig" (without the ") click the start up tab + look for svfc32.exe ?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
