    I recently installed hotbar and I know its gimmikie but I would like to block it from putting an advert footer on the bottom of my emails. Is there a way round this or is the only option to uninstall hotbar?

    The thing causing the advert is - advert.dll

    Search for that and delete it.

    Also make sure it hasnt wriiten an email signature in your email client.

    Try running ADaware also.

    If you uninstall via Control Panel and are confident with the registry check for these Keys after uninstall.

    HKCU\SOFTWARE\Hotbar
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Hotbar
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\B195B3B3-8A05-11D3-97A4-0004ACA6948E
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform\Hotbar 3.0
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent

    CU = current user
    LM = local machine

    There is also and Uninstaller for hotbar : http://www.hotbar.com/install/explorer/HBUnInst.exe
