Does anybody know what this program does, and maybe why it could have appeared in the startup list of my MSCONFIG ?
«dumprep 0 -k» from «HKLM\SOftware\Microsoft\Windows»

-Done a search on google but couldn't find anything that helped.

(I've been trying my hand at some tweaks lately so it could be related...)

Thanx in advance

you can remove it. what happened was you had a crash at one point or another and it set itself to startup and give you that little alert box or such most likely telling you about your crash

dumprep is the program that catalogs and creates the memory dump after a fatal error.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
