Dual Monitors - Halfway there.

So this is what I have -

The only issue seems to be getting the 3000X1024 resolution.
I have gotten it before, I just don't remember how . Latest nvidia drivers installed already, of course. I can see both monitors, but I would like to "Span" the desktop across them both. Not just have an extra desktop at 1280X1024 to drag stuff on to.

i dont have dual monitors but cant a program like ultramon do something like that?

First step would be to disable dual view in display properties - settings. Then click "advanced", open the Geforce xxx tab and under "nview display mode" choose span mode.

i used UltraMon for my 2 monitors...spans everything across both, however i've got an ATI 9500 Pro...
