Hello,

I have a Dell D600 laptop which I want to experiment with, however keep in mind this is my main computer so if's this is too risky and will have a high chance of me having to format than forget about it. I want to dual boot this system with Windows XP Professional (current) and Redhad Linux 9. I have a 30gb hard drive with 12gb free on one partition. No other space is aviable. So what do I have to go? What problems might I have trouble with? Any hardware issues?

Thanks,

To make space for Linux you would have to reduce the size of your WinXP partition (presumably NTFS). You could use a commerical program such as PartitionMagic. The only other way is if you install Mandrake 9.1 which has NTFS partition resizing built into the install. I dont know how reliable this feature is though.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
