I have my HD partitioned in 2 with XP on C: and ME on D: but I no longer need ME. When my PC boots it gives me the choice of XP or ME. How do get rid of this menu at boot up without formatting my C: drive ane reinstalling XP:confused:

Thanks zman but unfortunately the damm thing does'nt run. I did exactly what you said all I get is a flash on the screen and NOTHING:mad: So its not letting me edit

follow the guide. You have to type in 'cmd' first to open a command window.

try right clicking my computer and going to the advanced tab, click the start up and recovery settings button, and then the edit button, you can then delete the entry for ME.be careful though not to delete the xp string.hope this helps

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
