I have three problems.
(i) My Longshine PCMCIA 56K fax/modem type LCS 8560A works up to a point but will only install under the standard modem driver. Longshine show no interest in my request for help.
(ii) My Lexar PCMCIA Smart Media card reader will not work at all as it is not recognised by XP. Again Lexar show no real interest.
(iii) I have just purchased a PC Line USB dual card reader (including Smart Media) type CR-CFSM and this fares worst of all. It apparently installs and the Control Panel/ System/ Hardware/ Device Manger tells me that the USB is setup OK and that there are two new drives allowing me to read the two types of card. However when I insert a card the system crashes and I am presented with a blue DOS-like screen with a lot of doom and gloom with the following error message
STOP 0x000000c5 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x80537345)
I have only juste emailed for help.
Can any one offer help with any of these problems?
Many thanks and a Happy New Year to you all.
