Downloads in IE

I can download things fine in kazaa but when I try to download stuff with Internet explorer nearly all the time they just freeze and I have to start again, it's a ***** when i'm trying to get the latest drivers and stuff you don't find on kazaa. Help.

hmmm... that's no fun... have you tried right-clicking on the downloadable link, and then select save (target) as?

dont use IE, opera much better for things like that !

yeah I must agree IE6 sux for downloads. I usally get 130kb/s with IE6, but with netscape (and thanx to wolfensteinx.com) I get a 245kb/s -and can hold it-.
