There's this house in Coventry, near the Town Centre on Gulson Road. It is a closed up house (probably haunted). My mum just wanted some info on it.

We just bought a house for £315,000!

Ah that house. Well you see I had a sister that lived in Coventry. She stayed there in the 80's and early 90's. Apparently the house which was in use until 1989 was a rather posh gentlemans club.

Until...

In 1988 Lord Cloversthorpe who was a patron of the club was staying in one of the private rooms overnight. Of course he had a guest... It isn't totally clear what happend but in the morning the 3rd Lord of Cloversthorpe had disappeared and in his place a young gentleman was found beheaded in the 4 poster bed!

The head was never foud but it is said that late at night the head can be seen floating around the place looking for the body - dripping blood!!!

Yuk.

Of course this put the guests off a bit and the surrounding controversy shut the club down soon after.

Well you have to take everything with a pinch of salt.

Cloversthorpe has not been seen since and there is of course no factual verification of the 'floating head' story - Check out the papers from that time.

If it wasn't for those meddling kids!!
