I just downloaded a divx video but WM is unable to play the soundtrack cause it can't find the right decompresor.

I have divx 5.02 installed. Is it my config that's wrong or it's a bad file?

Divx is only the video, usually the audio is compressed using mp3... can you play those?

    yep!

  4. Visit www.download.com and look for the DivX bundle and download that and then try and open the video. It should play the video. Let me know if this helps?

hey, it probably is because you don't have the ogg vorbis codecs installed.. look for them anywhere... many divx's are encoded with that now
