I tried to update the driver for my Crucial Radeon 8500LE card last night with the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI and when I started setup on the driver...it complained that I didn't have DirectX 9 installed on my system. I checked on Microsoft's website and it had a download for DirectX 9 but it appears to be the webinstaller which would install my machine and then download the rest of it...the problem is...I am on a dialup at home and it would take ages to download....does anyone know if I can download the full package anywhere? I have a fast connection here at work so I don't mind downloading it here.

Sigh, 1 and a half hours... That's about 750 megs on my connection. Find a way to get broadband! I gave up a bunch of junk for it. Small stuff like cookies and coffee at work covered half the cost. (Ooops I lost weight too.)
