Need 8.1 on XP. Where can I get it??

If you have sp1 installed then you have directx 8.1.

I haven't DLed it though. Tried to and it said no updates.

Where can I check what version I have??

Put this in your window 32 folder then go to the control panel & open it.

DirectX 8.1 comes INBUILT into the Windows XP core.

You can't install Windows XP without DirectX 8.1
