Oh the wonders of this new digital age!!

Im on the lookout for a new better soundcard, gotta have good digital support, specifically optical output.

Can anyone suggest such a soundcard?

    Cheers

Catch, the Terratec is awesome. As far as the audigy goes, I highly reccomend most Hercules cards esdpecially the Hercules game theater XP or XP 6.1

I also reccomend the M-Audio cards

just fyi, if you consider the audigy, you'll have to invest in the platinum to get optical in/out.

Thanks all for your suggestions, but I found an easy solution!!... SONY have an adaptor (CAV-U5) that goes from USB to Optical.

Saves me buying new card just for optical! :D
