Digital Camcorder: What Capture Software to Use?

Discussion in 'Windows Desktop Systems' started by Armed and DWI, May 10, 2002.

  1. I got a Panasonic DV51 digital video camcorder. I've been using Windows XP's Home Video Maker, but I was wondering what you XPhiles used for that?

I do virtually all my video editing in Adobe Premiere. But there are cheaper offerings out there, like uLead Video Editor and Micrografix Video Studio

    Good luck

I don't know if this is what you are looking for - but check this out
    here

Scroll down the right side and you'll see Photovulink2_10.exe for your DV 51 camcorder!

    Hey Gothic,

I just got Premiere 6.0. You know any good books that would give me a good run through on it?

I don't know of any books, tho'i'm sure they're out there, but I found the supplied tutorial worth it's weight in gold. Walks you thru' most of the functions that are needed. If I hear about anything else i'll let you know.
