I know MS was planning to kill support for 95 and below at the beginning of 2003, did that happen already?

Don't know about microsoft but I had to give up on '95 about 2 years ago. I couldn't get some of my programs to work with it.

they announced support was stopping for win98 this year unless you signed up for the 7 year support plan. 2k is up in 2 years, XP 4 years i guess, we push XP now as there seems to be more support for it.

Err, umm Win9x has been dead to me for quite a while... I do think it has passed the M$ product life-cycle and is no longer supported as well...

Yep, 9x is pretty much gone :(

Unless you have a really old computer any OS would work better on it then 95 :p

Win 9x product tree will cease to be supported in any fashion by Microsoft upon the release of Office 11 (the next version up from Office XP (aka Office 10))

is that some new version?

i'm still running win 3.1 on my commodore 64. ;)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
