Dell Pocket DJ

WMP10 rocks and as if by coincidence nicely integrates with Media Center :D

I have one question tho, what kind of software is used to transfer songs?

Im curious cause I have an old 64MB RCA Kazoo and I need Musicmatch and I hate having to install it since I use Winamp.
Like Sazar said, it should work fine with WMP10, which is a great app.
You can also look at DJ Explorer (free) or Dudebox Explorer (not free) if you want to drag-and-drop files through Explorer. :)

Cool!

I dun like the other apps... wmp10 is where I play my music from and it organises things better than musicmatch IMO...

use that or musicmatch plus to get best results..

btw there are some awesome new cases coming out for the pocket DJ soon :D

I agree. If I had one of those, I'd use it with WMP10 too...even more so since it's my primary media player anyway. Just pointed out the other ones since I know that there are people who prefer the drag-and-drop way of doing things :)

Any chance of posting the review soon, Sazar? :( Take your time though. :)

From his previous post, I think it might be a while. Maybe you could post any specific questions you have, and he could answer them for you? You've already seen actual pictures of the thing now anyway.

I've written most of the stuff already... pics and editing are all thats really left but I don't have time right now :(

if you have questions... lemme know :)

I guess I'll wait for the review then. :) At the moment, I have one question. Is the backlight of the DJ really dark? Looks like it in the pictures?

you can adjust the backlight...

its a lovely blue color actually and any time you touch a button or the scroll/click wheel it lights up nice and blue with dark text which really stands out nicely...

when its simply running, to save battery life teh only LED which lights up is the power button on the top of the device which lights up blue...

you can also change the contrast ratio to your liking...

Very nice. :) I'm quite liking this player.. I think I'll have to go with this. :)

for just music playing... its a nice little gadget to have...

can't do anything else with it but play music... but for what it does... it does it well enough for me :)

Yes, that's exactly what I want. A mini music player. :D Don't really care for colored screen, FM Tuner, or Voice Recorder that some players have. :)

well 3 things... make sure you get a case for it (the new ones coming out... specially the black one with silver edging are NICE, with flip cover and gap @ top for your accessories to connect), if you have a car, make sure you get an FM adaptor or cassette kit to listen to stuff in your car... and lastly make SURE you get Complete Care accidental coverage if it is offered in your area...

it is not offered everywhere but if it is it sure helps in case you drop the DJ or spill something on it or something scratches the glass... dell replaces it :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
