is it possible to delete something without going to its folder. i downloaded somethings and it has covers(.jpg) as well as other files in the folder but as soon as i access the folder the covers r making explorer crash, is there a way to delete them that doesnt involve going to the folder coz i dont get the chance as it crashes

You could do it through DOS

But I don't know the commands needed to do it.

I am sure someone here knows though.

well i have a list of directories

mp3s/1
mp3s/2
3,4,5,6,7,ect....

some of the directories contain covers, some dont, if enter a directory with covers 9 times out of 10 explorer just closes then opens again sometimes with an error saying its caused an error and will close but all other directories without covers r fine.

also is it possible to delete files out of sub folders in dos.

saves me going in..
mp3s/1
mp3s/2
3,4,5,6,7,ect....

and deleting which will take along time

if i could just go in mp3s/ folder and delete al .jpg in all the sub-directories?

Are these JPEGs imbeded with MP3s?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
