Data CDR jamming CDR Drive, HELP!!

Ok, weird one. Whenever I insert a data CDR disc, it WILL NOT let me eject it. Not manually on the case, not thru windows (right-click-eject).

It doesn't do it on audio CDRs or VCDs on CDR, but all of my archive CDs are causing it.

I can use a paper clip to forcibly eject it, but the drive is powerless until I logoff/reboot.

actually, I didn't expect a repsonse yet, I was coming to add the following:

If I got to Hardware manager and disable, then enable the CDROM, it is fine.

flashing the firmware might fix it
