    Ok guys...

This to me seems WAY too much to give up for one QB... like we saw last year, a QB takes one good hit WHAM out for the season ala Tom Brady...

YEAH, YEAH I know it is not an everyday thing, but still at ANY time it can happen... I really can not believe they gave away 2 first round, one third round, this years fifth round AND Kyle Orton?

    What do you guys think?

Da Bears gave up way to much for that knucklehead. even if they did also sign O' Pace

    I'm thrilled!

Like John Clayton said ... He's the best quarterback the Bears have had in 30 years.

They didn't give up a 5th.. they got a 5th round from Denver along with Cutler. Still a bit much to give up though..

1st, 3rd round picks this year, 1st round pick next year, and Orton in exchange for Cutler and a 5th round pick this year.

Ugh - I'm glad they made the move and followed up with signing Pace.. but now you're stuck with Hanie and Basen as your backups.. meaning they need to sign a servicable backup still.. along with a reciever that can actually get open and catch the ball..

    edit: Thread moved..

Still seems like too much to me... Heck Orton would have had his stats go up with Pace coming on board... so why not get one of the outstanding OTs coming in this draft along with Pace?

Seems iffy at best to me...
