i installed win2k on a notebook but it showed me two errors while extracting files. one file was browseui.dll and the other was cdosys.dll
i ignored the errors and continued with the installation and now i cant get passed the log on screen, i put my user in and then it just stays "loading" with a blue background.

what can i do to fix it?

    thx,
    Apu

Well can you boot up with the cd and fix the install? Or just reinstall it, i might you obviosuly have no data you dont want to lose, seeing as how you cant even log on yet.

perhaps there is a problem with the RAM? On machines I've previously tested with suspected dodgy RAM, they always had problems with installing Win2K/XP (always says some files cannot be copied).
