I am getting a balloon pop up error message that says that my windows/system32 is cotrrupt and unreadable whenever I stsrt an application such as Expolrer or any other. This happened after an installation of a game. It sasy I need to use chkdsk but whenever I do it tells me that I have to restart to run the application. How can I run chkdsk without restarting? because I do need system32 to boot, correct??

You are going to have to let it reboot in order to do a chkdsk on the system drive.

you could just perform a restore operation before you intalled the game, make a copy of the system 32 files and then load the game and compare the 2 or rebuild the files.
