Copying to DVD problem...

I'm trying to copy pictures on my hard drive to a DVD. I thought it would be as simple as dragging and dropping but nothing is showing on the DVD when checked on another computer. Do I need a program to write to a DVD or is this a simple file management issue?

what program are you using to write the discs?

My guess would be that you aren't closing the session. When you put the DVD back in your own computer - can you view the files?

You have to finalize the disk in order for it to be usable on other players. Otherwise it will only be readable on a dvdr or cdr drive ..

My wife was dragging and dropping in windows explorer. I'm guessing we need to use a program to copy pictures from the hard drive to a DVD. I'll take a look at Imgburn.
