Hi all,
I am looking for a way to run the CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS silently. I have looked on the Microsoft Knowledge Base and searched google, but I have not been able to find any way to do this. I have tried:

C:\>convert c:
Must specify a file system

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /y
Invalid Parameter - /y

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -y
Invalid Parameter - -y

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -s
Invalid Parameter - -s

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /s
Invalid Parameter - /s

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /noask
Invalid Parameter - /noask

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -noask
Invalid Parameter - -noask

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /silent
Invalid Parameter - /silent

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -silent
Invalid Parameter - -silent

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /yes
Invalid Parameter - /yes

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -yes
Invalid Parameter - -yes

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs /sure
Invalid Parameter - /sure

C:\>convert c: /fs:ntfs -sure
Invalid Parameter - -sure

If anyone has any ideas it would much appreciated.

well, if it prompts for a yes, then you could always do it like this...

ECHO y| convert /whatever

that should work.

Ahhh, so simple yet so elusive! I have been trying to figure this one out for quite a while. Thanks for the help!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
