I've done the network wizard, and i can ping the computers on my network, and view them on the workplace, but when i go to access the computers shared files, it asks for a guest logon, and I was wondering if anyone knows what this password would be by default (cause i know i didnt set one) or how to disable this feature so i can directly connect to the file and printer sharing folders.

    Thanks

Are the machines in the same workgroup?

Do all accounts that are logged in, have a password? I don't think Windows likes networking with passwords that are blank :s

Might also be some security on the PC you are trying to connect to, perhaps someone made the files/folders private?
