I have a computer, and it will not boot. Last night when i rebooted it and just didn't come on again. It powers on, and the cdlight blinks but no output to the monitor, nor does it sound like the hard drive is spinning. Its a fairly new workstation box, http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socketa/a7n266-vm/overview.htm .
i am not sure exactly what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, I'd reseat RAM and make sure IDE connectors are correct and tight.

Next, I'd try setup with only PSU, MOBO, RAM, CPU, see if you get post beep. Then add components one by one.

I did the ram, and all looked good, will check the IDE connectors now. What if there is no beep? what could it be?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
