With luck, they'll be able to bring your drive up on another system (depends on the shop on what they'll do), and copy your data over, somewhere. Some peeps might do this, and peeps I once knew even had network storage on their systems they could use to temporarily copy stuff onto. Some might not however, and might not want to till they know the drive is virus free.
Then again, if your computer won't turn on, your data might be as safe, as well could be considering what just happened in that box. No gaurentees however, when a PSU goes south like that one, that the HD will necessarily be OK or unaffected. When they look at your PC, they should be able to figure more out...
