CD-ROM Doesnt Open?

Sending it back

You have the same warranty I do, 1 year. To get it replaced you will have to talk to a Dell Tech, they might have you try a couple of things to fix it, if they can't fix it they will send you one, usually overnight. You replace the cdrom, if you need help it comes with nice instructions or a phone number to call to walk you through it. You then package up the old one in the same box the new one came in. You don't have to pay to ship it back, you just use the return labels it was sent with, call ups or fedex for a pick up and they come get it. Sounds simple, it is.

Well can i just drop it off at the nearest post office? or drop it off in the nearest mailbox? yea?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
