at work we run windows 98, and on one box when insert a cd to listen to WMP reconize the cd-rom drive & tracks but will not play the songs, i get a box error saying:
"WMP cannot find the specific file. be sure the path is typed correctly. If it is the file does not exist at the specified location, or the computer where the file is stored is offline"

and also when try in CDPLAYER.exe where usually says the info on the cd like what track and what not it says :
"data or no disc loaded".

the wierd part is using explorer i can see the drive and the tracks in it. Not sure what was going on i went to start and run to do "d:\" and regedit was last thing used. Any way to figure out what is wrong or to see if something in the registery was changed?

-thnx

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
