Until recently I was running a Liteon LTR 40125S 40X CDRW drive and occassionally using it to play audio CD's with no problems.

Last week I installed an LG GDR-8161B DVD-ROM as a slave drive to the Liteon unit and everything works fine until I try to play an audio CD. If the audio CD is played in the LG drive there is no problem but if it is played in the Liteon drive the sound is almost muted. If I turn the volume up to full I can just about hear the music but even then it is almost inaudible.

Any idea on what is causing this?

Thanks,
Alan

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
