If you want to try the Catalyst 4.8 (with instancing support!!), you can get it right here.

These new drivers have instancing support, so if you have DirectX9c (here), and the 1.2 patch for Far Cry (here, and it's not too buggy to play), you can get some HUGE framerate increases, especially in outdoor environments.

the 4.8's have instancing and help performance in games like far cry...

the hot-fix version of the 4.9's == specifically designed to help d3 performance
