cant uninstall Alcohol 120% completely

i'm trying to uninstall the trial of this because my buddy bought it and bought me a licesne. after uninstalling it and then installing his version, it said my trial had ended and i need to put the code in; so i put the code in and nothing happens.

i think its using files that dont uninstall to track my useage. i cant remember any of the programs i used to get rid of the registry entries that programs use to clean up the computer.

any free ones avaliable? i havent played with the computer for a while, been hitting the books hard. let me know, thanks guys.

If your extremely careful you could just fire up regedit (just type regedit @ run prompt) and do a search for anything alcohol. I stress caution though.
