I cannot remove anything and am having trouble installing some itmes aswell, any ideas please chiefs????

Did you disable any services?
Go to run and type 'services.msc'
check if Windows Installer is disabled, if it is change it to either manual or automatic. Then restart and check if it works

Are you dual booting? I had a weird thing happen to me the other day. Went into my other operating system, got rid of a msstyle & the problem I had in the other OS went away. Very strange indeed. :huh:
