Hi Guys,

I bought a new LCD monitor.

The Owner's Manual says that the optimum resolution is 1440x900,

The closest I can get is 1400x1050.

What do I need to do to get it optimum?

This is for the machine listed in my sig.

Thanks in advance,

Heeter

What may be optimum for the monitor, might not be supported by your video card.

What is the max resolution your video card supports?

Not in front of it right now, but found the specs Here

Not too sure on this one. Might just be the video card doesn't support that particular resolution setting. I know it can go up 2048x1536, but it may not support 1440x900.

I'm poking around for detailed ranges on your card, will post back if I find anything.

It could be just that the drivers dont have that resolution listed , you can make custom resoultions .

I am using Omega Radeon Drivers, Sorry, KC, forgot to mention that.

Not the ATI supplied ones.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
