Wrong! real player has always been available for mac: sys req. The real.com site only shows you info relating to the platform you're using.

Just head over to http://real.com/ and click the "free realplayer" button in the top right of the screen, you'll need to feed them an email address and password to download it.

    Works fine...

I didn't think that was right - rather spiffy it only shows the specs of the rig you are on.

I don't really see how I was pwned, and if we want to add to the dog pile, let's boot every OS out there and visit the site to find out what else its compatible with ;)

I think it comes loaded on Suze 9.3 if I remember right. I have that but don't use it since I can't get the wireless to work on it.

I have a us robotics router and usb thumbdrive kit that does not have any linux support so it does not matter if I upgraded. eventully I will be able to get this comp plugged back in to the router directly and it will not be a problem.

There is even a build for HP-UX. I think they got their bases with regards to OS's covered :p

Are you sure you want to stick your neck out?

    /me turns turtle... :dead:

maybe I should go hunting down a VAX Alpha build just for kicks....

I sure as heck KNOW there is none for any IBM mainframe OS like MVS or VM/CMS.

But yeah - I'm amazed

It looks really crap on a mac, wow.

Then again, looks worse on Windows.
