can someone MAIL me a copy of Red Hat Linux 8.0?

    I know its free to download... but it crawls for me... its always about 15KBs....

    i would really appreciate it, I would be willing to send you $3 for the cd or the cost for postage...

    heh, only last week i downloaded a FreeBSD .iso @ 4.7k/s average :)
    raw 56k speeeeed :D

    wow.. how long did that take you?
    (2 1/2 hours later, i had the 2 iso's d/l, and burned to cd and installed :D)

    Average .iso takes 27 hours on a 56k, BUT thats only if its a constant 5k or above stream and un-interupted...
    of course with downloading pages and other things all the time, it goes under 5k, and with the 2-hr cut-offs it IS interupted :)
    i can't put a time on how long it takes as im always downloading variously sized .iso's on this machine @ 56k
    but as an average, 30/40 hrs would be a rough figure ;) ;)
