Cable Router Help

I want to connect 2 pcs with the cable connection. Will this work?

A friend of mine just got a netgear RP614 V2 last week and loves it. Runs very good with his cable isp which is finicky at best.

His older linksys gave him frequent disconnects. The New netgear has been ultra stable. Don't know about the model in the link.

yep that will work to share your cable connection and allow file/printer sharing between upto 4 pc's.

i just bought an SMC Barricade cable/dsl router from compusa for $49. it works well. pretty easy to setup as well.
