Building a New System ---> Whould You Advise?

Hi All,

I am about to shell out some cash and make a new system. I would like your opinion on these issues/quiestions that I have:

1- Should I get a P4 1.6A ('Sweet' OverColocker!)?

2- Should I get the new ABIT Mainboard IT7-MAX2

3- Should I get DDR or RDRAM?

4-If DDR, what type? PC1600, PC2100 (also mention brand please)

5-If RDRAM, what type (also mention brand please)

1. 1.6 would work, i personally like the 2.4...
2. sure, if i remember correctly, make sure your kb/ mouse are USB only..
3. DDR. only RDRAM if you are making a server, or just want to toss away money.
4. Corsair XMS3200. (my opinion)
5. N/A

** make sure you get a solid HDD (like WD w/ 8 M Cache)
** video appropirate for what you want to do w/ the pc

IT7 only has USB, IT7-MAX2 has PS/2 as well. Really cool board that one.
