I ran BootVis a couple times. Turns out that the Registry+Pagefile portion of my boot process is taking 16 seconds. Is this normal? A friend of mine told me that this process should only be taking a few seconds on my machine. If thats the case, I would LOVE to shave off some time from this step so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Here is a portion of my system:
AMD Athlon 1.4GHZ CPU
256M micron ram (was 512M but one of my sticks went bad. should have the replacement in a couple days so it will be 512M again)
C: is my boot drive, no pagefile
D: is an ibm 7200rpm 60gig drive, pagefile (min. size =128M, max. size - 512M)
E: no pagefile

So nobody has any suggestions about how to speed up the Registry+Pagefile (called by BootVis) process in the boot-up process?

I should be fine with a 128M pagefile considering the 512M of ram.

try setting the pagefile to min 128, max 128 so it doesn't have to fill with data or such, that might help.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
