I am running windows xp professional and yesterday I got a blue screen and then it rebooted. Now when it boots back up after it shows my hard drvies and cdrom's detected it says.. Press <DEL> to resume. As soon as i hit Del I hear a beep and then Windows starts booting. Anybody have any idea how i can get rid of this message?

Thanks

Reboots over and over during setup attempt

Boot from CD to start the Recovery Console,

then read setuplog.txt, and setupapi.log,

to see what happens when it boots.

Well it doesn't reboot every time i click Del. I just have to hit Del and then it boots up into windows like it always did. I just did a reinstall of windows xp and it still does it and I also reset the bios to the default settings and it stills gives me the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
