Weird error
Has any one come across an error whereby the bios is configured to boot correctly from SCSI for a SATA drive ( Maxtor 120 GB) and system shows " boot from cd" .when booting from cold.
After initial reboot and any subsequent ones , it boots normally
Mobo is gigabyte GV7VAX Ultra.
The second , third boot options are disabled.!

Realised theerror !
Original config was IDE 1 ...nil IDE 2 ....DVD+zip
IDE3.....DVDRW , SCSI Primary...SATA Drive,
USB 2.....second standard h/drive.

Changed DVDRW to IDE1 to prevent problems with recognition with burning software.

Althoughnot selected for boot option, system was looking to CDRW for boot up.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
