Boot Problem

do you have one OS?or 2?
go to my computer icon..right click> properties>>advanced>>startup and recovery's settings and choose EDIT.
or clcik on F8 at the beginning

i just have one OS installed.

this is what those instructions gave me:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0
)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional"

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

I guess he is not really banned.... Other question: Do you know if the above boot.ini will work. I don't know why there are so many lines as soon as I press "submit reply" didn't type it that way.

Add the "/fastdetect" from yoyo's post and then change the timeout value to 1. That way the boot screen will still come up but you probably wont see it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
