if you haven't already installed the device drivers for your RAID controllers (both p-ata and s-ata) certainly do install them...
a way to test your theory would be if you have a regular hard-drive with windows or some other operating system installed...
if you can get that simply go into bios and disable the s-ata/raid controllers and then boot... if it boots right into windows (or whatever o/s you choose) it indeed is the problem
else you can just seek to install the appropriate drivers for the raid controller and see if that fixes things...
it might well be the object not setup right luish and the floppy with the device drivers should have come with your motherboard...
try it out and see what happens...
the way to install the drivers is @ boot up... again this should be present in your user-manual...
enable the controller (which you seem to have done already) and then press the required key sequence to install devices (I have to press F10 or something on my board for some drivers) and then install the drivers for the controller as prompted...
