wel... maybe, say, if you install win98 on a via board without the 4in1 drivers... then i wouldn't doubt it was running at ata33 cuz it doesn't have the "via bus master ide controller" driver installed. but xp has the 4in1's built in so it's going to have the drivers installed from the getgo and be running at ata100 or ata133. every benchmark i've ran oh my harddrives shows me a transfer rate that's on par with ata66 or ata100, wherever i have it hooked up.
