BF1942 problem - game won't run
After having the game run successfully on my laptop for over a week the damned thing wont run now!!
I installed the 1.6 patch and now I just get the intial splash screen that says "battlefield 1942" then nothing it goes straight back to the desktop and no intro movie - nothing
I tried restoring the system back to before installation of the patch and it still doesn't work.
Incidently the patch worked fine on my desktop?????????????
Any ideas why the game would crash like this? Task manager shows that the app just disappears after a couple of seconds.
